as for the first fake concept, I don't like it. It looks too much like a Mustang. Not that I'm saying mustang doesn't look good. I just don't think Skyline GT-R should look like a mustang.
As for the second real? concept....   oh no... please don't do this to my dream car...

one of the guys in my fraternity has a 98 altima, it's okay i guess, he has a nutty stereo

( i dont wanna hear that it aint a mod, i dont give a shit, stereos are cool as ####)

but his stereo is so loud it shakes the trunk like it wants loose change

he;s running stock nissan speakers with a kick ass Zapco, i dont know why, i'd give him 5 bills for the amp and run my sub off it

sh*t that has to be the most f*cking dispicable tatless piece os sh*t i have ever f*cking seen!

sorry <img src="http://www.zilvia.net/f/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/smile.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=':)'> i just had to get that out. &nbsp;the first pic i saw in car n driver before &nbsp;i heard about infinty releasin a &quot;wanna be&quot; skyline. which will happen more than likely. but makin 2 cars that similar! funk dat i'd rather spend way more on importin a r33 or r34 convertin it thru &quot;raping&quot; moterex &nbsp;buy a se-r v spec then waste money on somethin like that.

i swear nissan releases it i will quit my job @ nissan. &nbsp;and buy a honda and put a picnic table on the trunk like everyione else

Hate the front end, like the ass. If they round out the nose and amke the headlights horizontal, I think it'd be a fine looking car. . .

OK i don't have the link to the conference that Nissan held about this but i'll sum it up for ya, to try and dispel some of the rumor's. This car was designed for a &quot;worldwide audience&quot; in other words for all markets to include the US. It obviosly shares the Z/G35 platform. Personnally I don't think you need to &quot;learn&quot; to like it, when I first saw the R34/33/32 I did'nt &quot;learn&quot; to love it, I liked it right away. That front end is just fugly, but hopefully it is just a beginning design. I can understand them sharing the platforms/engines (remember nissan nearly went bankrupt just 2 years ago) but I just hope they change the headlight's.

i actually have come to kind of like it, not nearly as much as a r34 or ne 89-98 240sx though. i just think it's really different/unique, but just like that concept pick up truck, they changed a lot virtually out of nowhere, in other words, the gt-r didn't gradually change into what it is becoming now. might be 2 much for me 2 handle right now, but i agree, a couple years from now it will all seem normal n won't seem like a big leap for nissans. just look at what has come out of japan first like, may i dare say, pokemon, power rangers, dragonball, all those little things were huge in japan years before it came to the states n the US grew to love it (consumers or whatever) maybe 2 much.

All right...I know the new nissan car concepts are looking very strange and similar and all...but I think I understand where theyre coming from. &nbsp;Im thinking about automotive design as a career and the main focus of the business is to create something new. &nbsp; You can't call it a concept car if it looks exactly the same....The reason the new z is so different is because it is a new car...most car designers believe in designing cars for what they believe cars should/could/would look like in anywhere between 5 and 20 years. &nbsp;I wouldnt be scared about the skyline looking like that...

ok i dont want a fucking history lesson on the skyline. &nbsp;and i always new that they had a four door. &nbsp;i didnt say they didn have one. &nbsp;in anywhere that i wrote anything did i say i didnt know they &nbsp;had a four door! NO! &nbsp;dont insult me by saying i dont know about cars. &nbsp;cause thats just bull shit. &nbsp;now what i do know is that the gtr doesnt have a foor door version. &nbsp;now what i want to know is where the guy who started this topic got his pic from because it migh be alittle old. &nbsp;they change theyre minds quickly over at nissan now adays. &nbsp;i do see a similarity though with the skyline and the new 300z so maybe it true but what i do know is that theyre not sending that stupid shit over here. &nbsp;were getting the detuned four door version. &nbsp;a reason i belive this pic is outdated is because my car and driver magazine would be all over this already. &nbsp;again i might be wrong. &nbsp;cause car and driver is delayed 3months

Minime is right the skyline in the first picture is what the sedan will look similar to. &nbsp; It will compete with the BMW and BENZ. &nbsp; It is likely to be sold under the Infinity name moniker though. &nbsp; The second picture is that of the &quot;concept for the future performance based Skyline. &nbsp;Sold under Nissan name? &nbsp;I agree with you guys/girls &nbsp;the first one is tight and the second one does look alot like a TT and the new Z combined. &nbsp; The car in the second photo would be legit if the front end were reworked to have a front appearance that slightly more of the current Skylines. &nbsp;thanks for listening to my 2cents

i don't see where ca18guy &nbsp;said &quot;skyline&quot; in his post. he said GTR. the new skyline and the new/concept GTR are not the same car. yes the skyline is coming over the GTR is a concept and who knows if and when it has a snowballs chance in #### in getting over here. &nbsp;re-read your first post and u sound like we don't know what a skyline is. im sure there are more than a few on here that know as much if not more than u about them. &nbsp; &nbsp;please, take some time and reread over the string. it's a simple mistake, no need to get all offended.

oh and it's 350z not &quot;new 300z&quot;

Sorry supreme Skyline god. I posted those pics THE EXACT DAY they were released by nissan when they debut at the tokyo auto show. I hate to tell you but car mag's are about 2 monthes old by the time you get info out of them. This concept was kept as a secret by nissan til this last week end. The exact link to the nissan release i'm not sure but check out Nissan's Japanese homepage at www.nissan.co.jp thats were the whole pic collection is at.

AAAA AHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAH!!!!

I just saw a movie on nissan's website where it shows the GT-R concept as a left hand drive car!!

ROCK!

PS I love the new concept, except for the front end, which I am sure that they will restyle... anyone remember the original Z concept??
