difference in exaust?

just wondering, my 90 sx has the stock exahust with resonator, and I got a free 91+up, complete exaust, with out resonator, and looks heavier and larger than mine, and mine does make a strange noise when deacelerating (misspell?) so, basically, can I just swap in those fu***rs? do the SOHC and DOHC match up ?
please explain. thank you.

Yes.

Exhaust is chassis specific, not engine specific.

So any S13 exhaust can be used with any stock S13 motor (KA-E, KA-DE, SR), assuming the downpipe/cat are stock replacements as far as fitment.

(Only different one is a CA18 exhaust, their downpipe is different and does not match)
