Welp. I bought myself a Z32 off craigslist. Fantastic. I'm super hyped about it but on the way home I noticed a misfire. Great right? So basically, Trying to figure out what the hell it could be. Any common z32 problems that I should know about. Oh, I also smell fuel. But yeah it's late and I can't really think to put too much effort into this thread. Just got home not too long ago. Anyways, any bit helps. Thanks guys.

The z32 ECU flashes the codes in a very easy and comprehensive manner. You should try that.

i see a mechanic in your future, son

lots of reasons a car will misfire. time to acquire an FSM and start reading through the diagnostic section. the basic inspection of the ignition system is a good start though.

If you plan to keep your Z32, you better learn how to diagnose problems real quick. I made the mistake of buying one when I was 17. Raped and pillaged my small bank account for 2 years before I sold it. Loved the car and it taught me basically everything I know, but if you aren't willing to do your homework and get your hands dirty, you're screwed.

Do you know the maintenance record of the car? Is it NA or Turbo? How do you know its a misfire?

All else fails like ixfxi said, take it to a mechanic.

Alrighty guys damn. This thread is funny as shit. Was inactive for a little due to work and school, But yeah, wasn't really a misfire. Just a loose coil pack connection. Solved that issue. Also had a terrible rattle in my Cat. Sawed that off and found a piece of fucking metal in there. So i replaced it because i'm a pussy and i actually enjoy my cat. But yeah literally runs like a dream now. Can't get mad for the price I got it for. Fucking love this car. Thanks for the Lolz and thanks for the little amounts of support.
