FDORL
Florida treated me pretty well ![]() ![]() PODIUMMMMMMMMM! 3rd Place! Still feels like a dream. Flying home cradling a FD carbon fiber trophy solidifies all the work, money, time, effort and bloody knuckles. The whole weekend was fantastic. We showed up and got ready Wednesday. Thursday practice came and we started getting the car dialed in. We did a few gear changes to get the wheel spin dialed in so we can be higher on the bank. Went from 4.3 to 4.0 to 3.9 and that felt about right. Qualified 11th. First run was solid so I went harder (too hard?) in run 2. ![]() ![]() No major damage, just the wing. I miss it already. Comp day came and we were set for a rematch with Ryan Litteral. My chase run was solid. I got the timing on the jump just right and was able to clutch kick into his door on the bank. Stayed as close as I could but with about half his power I fell back, but made no mistakes. Lead was solid and he wasn't able to follow since my car is slow so we moved on. Top 8 went against Austin Meeks. Coincidentally Rapper Dan is his spotter so he was stoked that I won. Chase was the same, close on entry but fell back through the run. His chase he waited WAYYYY to long at the light and never really caught back up. Moved on. Top 4 went against Jeff Jones. No one has more experience or seat time in the series. He put a good chase and lead together and moved on. I'm beyond excited for Texas. I'm working on a few things to pull a bit more power out so we can be more competitive and nail it to their doors. I'm glad that my driving didn't let me down this round and that we were able to come away with a solid result. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() |

I was pulling for you man. Congrats on the podium finish in just your 2nd Pro2 event! The car looks really dialed in. For your power level you are bringing the heat.

I've gotten used to seeing with a wing for so long/so many pages, that yeah it does look different but I wouldn't say bad by any means. I'm a fan of GT wings. What's next? Also, congrats on all your success especially the most recent. You've really came a long way.

It's been a minute. Been laying low getting ready for Texas. I'm going to need a bit more power so the only thing I can get into the car quick enough is nitrous.
![]() ![]() ![]() It should be interesting. Doing it the right way. Window switch and fuel pressure safety switch. Probably doing about 150 shot but we will have to see how it goes on the dyno. |

According to NX the "shots" are realized wheel horsepower. I'll do before and after, but if that holds true I should be around 600~ wheel.
I finally finished all the wiring and plumbing last night. Quite a bit goes into making this system work correctly but I think it should be good. Dyno this week. |

Ok... the moment that almost no one except for me has been waiting for....
Dyno went really well today! Shipman Performance in Santa Rosa tuned the car. I don't have enough words to explain how happy I am with the job he did with my car. In one day he turned the car around, fixed TONS of small things and has really taken the car to the next level. Locally he's a legend and for the first time in human existence that something has lived up to the hype. Base tune which I have been running for 2~ years now was exceptionally rich. All motor he was able to pick up 22hp at the wheels which was fantastic. Here is the all motor graph. ![]() With a 150 shot the car put down 568 to the wheels which is a HUGE improvement. I can't wait to shred some tires on Wednesday at Sonoma. ![]() The spikes are the wheels spinning on the dyno. In other news I finally picked up a serious tire sponsor. I'll be running GTRadials for the rest of 2016 and beyond. The tire is exceptional and comes in a huge array of sizes. I'll give a full report after I slay a bunch of them with the Nawzzz. ![]() I also made some reflective stickers. #streetsignspec ![]() ![]() |

It definitely puts more stress on the motor but it should hold together. I had it all set up correctly with tons of safety measures built in so I don't expect the motor to explode.

Yea no idea why it's that way but just driving it around my neighborhood I can already feel that it's a TON better. Driving tomorrow so I'll be able to dial in the power to the tires and give a solid review. Really excited!!
