Sounds like someone is getting defensive...... I wonder why that could be?

If you can't take the heat, leave.

^^ Didn't I tell your stupid ass to leave? How is ^^this^^ post helping me find an exhaust that fits our needs?

It actually sounds like someone is explaining why they thought they had seen it before...

It's not about helping you anymore. I already tried and you didn't like what I had to say. You've already got 1 full page of answers. What more do you want? Would you like someone to walk you through it? Someone can probably arrange to help you put it on too if you would like...

Can't stop can ya. This thread is over, we heard some peoples opinions, even though there are many more out there... They probably just don't want to get flamed by some fool... But, it was a help anyway, because it gave us some things to consider and look at. Now we just need to make up our minds.

A one page thread doesn't necessarily mean anything... There are more than 1 page of people with exhaust experiences on their 240s... Anywho. We're done, now it's up to us, and do i need help with my install? Riiiight. Not anywhere as much as you need to get help growing up. Thanks for the offer though! I'll be fine with installing another exhaust... Done it many times on my car... But, you don't need to know about that. Peace

It's really had to find a exhaust that flows well and is quiet. If you want something quiet get a big Walker Quiet-Flow muffler in 3" pipe. You are not going to find a performance exhaust that is quiet. Part of the apeal is the sound and exhaust manufactures make there exhausts make a tone.

I really think you have no idea of what legal pipes sound like.

If that rsr is too loud for you, youre gonna have some problems finding an exhaust. You have to keep in mind also that that video was taken from like 3 feet away from the exhaust, and its not gonna be that loud from a couple cars away.

Some quiet exhausts are the rsr that has been under discussion
the greddy sp, they say its quiet and all, looks nice.
the 5zigen border III, you can get it in 60 or 70 mm, piping, and its another one advertised as a quiet one. http://www.zilvia.net/f/showthread.p...=5zigen+border
nismo makes an exhaust thats quiet, but i think its impossible basically to get in the us, who knows.
I'm tryin to think, like the 5zigen fireball is like 65mm piping, but if you think that rsr is too loud, i think you can forget the gochicken.

Seriously though, in my little search for that thread up tehre i came across soooo many relavent threads, searching a little more is the best, go check out some of those.

I just have to say really quick that the exmag actually sounds louder from like 20 feet 15 ft farther than where I put it (my powershot has a weak microphone so you actually have to turn it up a little to get the true sound from where I put it). I just want everyone to make sure they know how loud an exmag on a ka motor actually is, lets not have any misconceptions about it being super quiet on that engine. My friend knows I'm coming from about a mile from the fwy when I'm getting off the offramp to go to his house.
