At the moment i've got a blaupunkt head unit, and I love it, but it doesn't fit quite right. Does anyone out there have a head unit (not stock) that fits pretty much perfectly in the space provided?

I have a Pioneer DEH-P8000R, it fits perfectly fine, as a matter of fact, any Pioneer unit will fit fine in our cars.

FYI. Very little known fact, Pioneer is the most universal fit aftermarket head unit.

um I've gone thru more decks than imaginable, the Alpine 7863 is the best fit, its fills the opening (w/o the rim ring, some look weird).. But my best friend bought it off me, so I'm planning to get a Eclipse 3421. I have a kenwood kdc-3011 right now

sony xplod mp3 player. i just removed the cd player, so it bolted right in. didn't need a mounting kit at all. makes it harder to steal if you use the stock installation

the P8000R did fit pretty good, (well I had a premier P900R) but it kept on interfering with my cell phone for some reason, so i got rid of it, but the alpine did fit better

The best one is the DPX-8020MD, plays MDs, MP3s, CDs, multi-color display and you choose from the 15 pre set colors or mix your own. But it's not sold in the US, but they will ship it to the US at www.geocities.com/hongkongcarstuff
