It's never mentioned because you don't have to dremel the shit out of anything. lol
The only cars that require this modification are 1995's with that ridiculously huge plastic plug on the clock spring.

Mine's a 1996 but made in 1995. It has the huge plug on the clock spring. There are actually a couple write up's online of dremeling the back after looking around.

Eh, it's not visible. So if you have a car with the huge plug it'll work now. Thank you for the info.

It goes above the speaker cover as opposed to say the Cusco ones that go under it. It can be installed with the speaker cover, as I trimmed mine to fit. I later got a Do-Luck cage which would have required more trimming so I just stopped using it at that point.

As stated I dremeled a hole in the back to make it work with my airbag clock-spring. It's not visible whatsoever when the wheel is installed.
