Maximum TIRE(Rubber) fitment thread
Very nice, I didn't know they were making those and I got these a while ago so maybe they weren't available then anyway, idk. I would have had a harder time justifying cutting up the HLSD stubs unless I found a set without the diff included.

I measured the clearances today and have just over 1" between both the springs & LCAs to the wheel/tire so if I got really ambitious (which I won't), I could squeeze in 335s on 18x11.5 +25 just fine or 18x12 +30 would juuuust squeeze in there, but I wouldn't recommend that.
Leaving a bit of room for suspension travel and things flexing a bit under load, it's probably not wise to go much closer than a 1/2" gap. However, it is possible. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

Hi guys,
![]() I'm back again - this time with 335/30/18 hoosiers on 18x12's. ![]() I'm really posting just to keep notes of my changes, but also so that others may benefit. Rear is pretty easy - 50mm rear overfenders bowed to about 80mm and about 2 deg of camber. Total offset of +13. I think +10 or zero offset would be ideal here - for just a little extra clearance inboard for if you want to run a bit more camber. Front is a LOT more work - depending on how much you want to bring the wheels inboard. If you just want to use spacers and that's it, then you have to cut like crazy and offset ends up being -18 (yes negative 18). ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() The other option is to extend the ears on the front lower coilover mount a couple of inches, and move the upper coilover mount inboard a bit also. This is more invasive, but doable, and is common among the SM autox 240's. I will likely end up going this route in the future... Again, this is assuming you are trying to run 335's and 18x12 wheels at all four corners. My car is at the fabricators shop right now getting tubes up front because it fouls too hard in the wheelwell even after cutting what I could. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() I'm using kts coilovers, and I believe the springs are 60mm diameter. * I have the car as low as it will go (even removed both lower collars in the front), so that I can make sure I get all the clearances sorted. ymmv.

Hey Guys... First off, Please forgive my newbishness. This is going to be my first go at wheel fitment.
I have a BONE stock S13 Silvia. I am looking at picking up set of Work Emotion D9Rs (and coilovers). If my research on this subject have not led me astray, I think I can fit: Front---18x8.5+32 245/40 Rear--- 18x10.5+23 285/30 I am willing to roll, but would like to avoid pulling the fenders. I am not looking to drop this thing on its belly. As long as there is no poke, I will just lower the car as far as I can on the setup I go with. Does anyone have any examples of this or opinions on this setup? Thanks! You guys have already taught me a ton. |

haha... I was basing that off of a picture I saw of a setup running 18x10 +44 275. D9Rs dont come in 10".
Looking at another picture, I see that 10.5 is going to be very pokey.... What do you think about 18x9.5 +30 with 275s? |

That was probably Broadfield's car. He didn't have to pull the tears then because he was still at 4x4 height. When he finally lowered it properly, it required a 25mm pull

It was his. If I were confident that I could pull them as well as he did, I would have no problem with a pull. My fenders would probably look like bacon though. |

A 10 +44 can fit at a tall height, but a 10.5+23 is going to stick out 27mm more than that.
http://www.1010tires.com/Tools/Wheel-Offset-Calculator# Depending on what you're actually doing with the car, I'd skip the 245/285 stagger, too. If it's just for looks then it's whatever, but generally for an s-chassis a square tire setup is what you want. |

Thank you for the input. The car will be a fair weather street car with the very occasional track day. I want maximum grip. For that I just figured that max contact patch was the way to go. Can you explain what makes square setups better? |

Idk if this counts as maximum fitment, but it's a decent amount of rubber.
Rear is 18x10+15 with 285/35 Nitto NT01's. -1.5 camber. ![]() ![]() Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

Hey everyone, finally got my Work Wheels in this past weekend (ordered back in December!!).
Specs: 18x9.5 E +12 // 18x10.5 E +24 Going on a 98 240SX with FA coilovers. What size tires would you guys recommend for a CLEAN look (meaning minimal camber AND not sticking out past the fenders). I do plan to roll/pull the rear and hopefully just roll the front fenders but would be willing to pull the fronts as well. From hours of searching on here, the sizes I have it narrowed to would be the following: 255/35/18 with 295/30/18 OR 255/35/18 with 285/30/18 OR 245/40/18 with 285/35/18 Thoughts?!? Thanks everyone!

Not a huge fan of 40 series 18's in the front either as I've read they tend to rub on turns. The point of these wheels is to improve the look without taking away practicality/drivability.

I'm having trouble with something. I've done willtheyfit, and googled. Most threads with people talking about 16's are so old, the pic links don't work anymore. Kind of leaning towards 225... but I figured I'd check here before I pull the trigger.
Rears I'm wanting to go 255/50 on 16x8.5 The fronts are 16x7.5, and I'm trying to figure out if 215/50 or 225/50 would match the bulge of the rear. The 7.5/8.5 is the true measurement from inside of bead to inside of bead, not the total width. |

Anyone have any experience with running Kumho XS? Do they run fat or skinny? Looking at some 315/30's for my 18x12 Rezax. I know a 305/35 or a 335/30 are a better choice but I'd like to keep the overall diameter under 25.5". I know NT01 look good and not over stretched but they don't offer a tire sized in what I want for the front.

R33 GTR wheels 17x9 +30. 245/40R17 tires on all four corners. Put 2.5 mm spacers on the front since knock on weights were hitting the struts. Lowered on Tein S-tech springs.
