Hey guys, here's the scoop. I have 16 x 7.5 and 16 x 8.5 DT-05R's (from the group buy, thanks TF!) and my roommate has some tires that should fit, but my only concern is stretching a 205/55 on an 8.5 inch wide rim. Is this a bad idea? They're $150 Michelins, so if I can make them work, it would be cool. Any input would be appreciated.

thats going to have that super JDM stretched look IF its even possible i have 215s and my wheels are only 7in

your front ones will eventually wear out, just save em for the front...

but i'm guessing you can run it on 8.5's, it'll just be super stretched... mad drifta stylez yo...

yeah its gonna be super stretched cause i got 215's on 7 inch also and they are not stretched!
