i'm trying to start up a motor in a clip to see how it runs. From what i can tell everything is hooked up minus a battery and the side mount IC. i really dont wanna damage the motor cuz its not mine and i never started a turbo car w/o the ic or the pipes. So it should start fine right?

The motor will need a maf signal to run properly. It may start wihout it though and run like crap. You should have gotten a front clip.

you hooked up a fuel pump and such to it too?

You dont need the MAF to start. You need a fuel pump tho.

That front clip will start up fine and cause no damage. It will run rich as fuck tho.
