s14: fuel sending unit wiring
Okay so I got the floater out and all the wiring attached to it, but I am not able to get the other end of the fuel sending wiring out of the fuel tank. I'm not sure where it leads out to but I know it eventually gets the signal to the fuel gauge in the cluster. It is the wiring that goes to the fuel lead switch thus giving signal to the fuel gauge. I hope I don't have to take the fuel tank out just to get that wire out.
Below are pictures on what I'm talking about. Here outlined is the wiring I need to take out of the fuel tank. Do I need to take rear seats out and take the wiring out from there? ![]() ![]() Any help is greatly appreciated! |

Found this post cause i fucked up??
trying to install my ghetto dual pump setup - which failed btw in case it helps, i disconnected the 3 wire connector that exists inside the fuel tank only. i cannot find the other end to reconnect it for my dear life, i stuck my arm in the through the bulkhead to the point i almost got paralyzed and no luck. do you guys have any suggestions? i thought about filling up the tank with Fuel so maybe the connector floats up to me and i can grab it??? but the pump might get in the way. wtf bro?? lmk |

if the smaller plug is not for the fuel gauge then im straight.
i dont give a shit about fuel temp for the stock ecu or OBD2 crap- which i think is the small connector. someone please confirm. i really dont want to take my pump and sending unit out to find that little connector , so im kinda hoping the smaller connector is for fuel temp odd2 emission shit, thank you |
