Serious problem with my subframe (Pics)

So im trying to install my SPL parts aluminum subframe spacers and i do the passanger side no problem, on to the drivers side, and the front subframe mount wont drop down enough for me to slide the spacer in

so i look at it and the actual bolt on the end of the peg is connected to the rubber bushing but the passanger side is fine!

As you can see in this pic this is the passanger side which is fine and has a rubber ring and has a bolt that drops threw the ring

on the drivers side the bolt is actually connected solidly to the bushing not allowing the subframe to drop!!
what the hell is going on guy!!

will it affect my performance if i only use the bottom half of the spacers for the front mount the back is fine and the passanger!

please help

you cant pry it loose. When I did my subframe spacers I took a pry bar and stuck it between the car and the sumframe and had a friend jump on it (not really) My wernt that bad, but kinda fused (dont know why) but after a while I was ably to pop em loose. Another thing you can try is to take off the other corrner of the subframe on the same side and give yourself more leverage. It should pop loose. Keep us updated.

i actually unbolted all of the bolts for the subframe so it was hanging on that bolt and jacked the subframe and then let it drop quickly and it was just flexing on the bushing its like the collar is actually connected to the stud.

i havent tried a pry bar but i will, shouldnt the collars be the same? the passanger side is noraml and has a ring of clear space so it can easily slide in and out and this one has 0 space it looks welded or connected

bwt the car is a 93 s13

Good luck! I did the full aluminum bushigns on my s14. The 2 front subframe bushings actually had the inner metal race fused to the post. THe subframe came off with the race still attached to the post! Sucked ass

It's rusted on there, try soaking it in pb blaster or WD-40, Then prying at it with a crow bar or something. It apears it's not the only rusted thing on the car.

My car barly had that much rust on it, the first thing I did was rip the rear end apart, glass bead all the parts, pro-40 (or something like that), prime, paint. Plus pressed in new nismo subframe bushings.( Aluminum ones werent out at the time.)
