I have a OBD II KA in my 96 s14 right now. I'm buying a 93 KA, which is OBD I. I'm going to build up the 93 KA since I'm going KA-T. What will I need to make it work? Do I have to change anything like the ECU? I tried searching but nothing came up about swapping in the KA that's going to be turbo.

Stick the 93 longblock in and use all the existing parts from the 96.

So all I have to do is put in the long block in, and I can use the head I have now? I was going to build everything up though.

Yeah, Get a AEM EMS.

So I can use the ECU from my car now on the 93 KA? I'm going with just an SAFC-II in the meanwhile. I'll upgrade to a EMS later on, or do I really need one?

you are going to have to hook up all the sensors. I don't think the 93 intake has all the conectors.

Holy shit. Longblock = block+head.

Use the S13 block and head, S14 mainfolds, accessories, and wiring.
