just lowered, clunking noise when turning wheel

Sup, Im a 240 newb I know. Well heres my question. I just lowered my s13 with new kyb agx's and sprint springs. These springs are suppose to drop the car about 2" I think. Now when I turn my steering wheel all the way either side theres a clunking noise, sounds as if somethings hitting the springs but I just cant figure it out. Also if I jack up the car in front the spring is like a few inches away from the upper strut mount perch is that normal?

i dont really know what you mean by the spring is a couple inches away from the perch.....

but my guess is that you did what I did. On the upper strut mount, right along the spring perch, there is a little slot cut out. When reinstalling, YOU MUST have this slot lined up with the lower bolt holes on the strut.

if the slot is in the back or something, your upper mount will rub on the strut tower, causing the spring to "jump" around in the strut, causing the noise you hear.

bro, I found out what you were talking about and you are right I did install them with out even thinking about the notches. I found this link after searching on spring install (http://www.nissanperformancemag.com/...spension.shtml) #9 in the instructions says the notch should be facing the back of the bolts towards the engine. Your telling me it should line up with the front bolts facing the opposite of the engine? Can someone set me striaght on this!!
