would it be morally right for me to "take" a front lip off this 240sx down the street from me which has been sitting in a parking lot for about a month. It's beat up, dirty and has a flat up front, the owner obviously does not care about it and I am pretty sure does not want it. I almost bought it off him a year ago before I bought my current car, and he didnt seem very interested in it. There is also a nifty liscense plate thing that attaches to the bumper which i wouldnt mind having, the door is also unlocked leaving access to everything inside and also the engine. This post is totally pointless but I just want to see what people would say, the lip is clean and oly 2 screws are holding it on...it's very clean...lol ANYWAYS just wanted to see how many of you zilvians have morals!

I just had my car vandalized ($1200 of damage) and a $500 alpine deck ripped off. If I saw you touch that car I would kick your ass. Why don't you just offer the owner some money?

besides would you be driving around with the lip on your car? the owner would probably recognize it unless he really thinks his 240sx is such a pos that he doesnt recognize vandalism on it

Wow, why not just ask first, I would understand if the car was ABANDONED, but you're asking this board (a board full of people witnessing cars getting jacked left and right) if STEALING is OK? I think before you get that lip, you get your head examined. No matter how easy it is to remove it, you should ask first.
