... wait, I just thought of something. My CD player in the car plays MP3s, can I have an MP3 disc or does it HAVE to be a single album?

I would go with Mos Def - "Black on Both Sides" or Talib Kweli - "Beautiful Struggle", or if I wanted the best of both worlds some "Black Star"...tough call.

... that 12-album MP3 disc would settle my need to hear any of my favorite albums for whatever mood I may find myself in. Unfortunately, I do not make my MP3 discs like that, I would rather take the effort to make them make sense for easy reference on the fly, like having all the Linkin Park albums on one disc with similar music, a lot of Jazz on one disc, a lot of blues on one disc,funk, R&B, whatever keeps the disc as a "collection." Artists with a bunch of albums, like Jay-Z make this a approach a lot easier.

I cant live without having a different cd every 2 days. I dont enjoy listening to a song over and over until it gets burnt out. If i had to choose one it has to have atleast more than 300 songs in it.

i'll one step further. NO cd's in my car. haven't had cd's in the car since '99. that's when i got my md player.

but now i don't even have a stereo. so no cd's and no md's either
