look, you don't want fiberglass, which pretty much what the aftermarket uses, and you don't want to pay $700 at the stealership.

"good fitting" and "aftermarket" do not always go hand in hand, and it's nearly impossible to gaurantee fitment from one piece to another.

That means you want urethane for its durability and OEM fitment, but that means going with OEM sideskirts, whether from Japan or a junked USDM s14 kouki.

If you want to save money, look on ebay, where kouki skirts and optional aero skirts go fairly regularly for around $300, sometimes more, sometimes less, depending on condition and shipping.

Getting 100% new shit will cost money, that's just a fact of life.

So here are your choices:
1. aftermarket, which is fiberglass, which u don't want
2. new Nissan optional aero or kouki aero, which is too expensive
3. used Nissan optional aero or kouki aero, which you don't know or want to look for

help us help you and make up ur mind

look... for side skirts it doesnt really matter.... you can make shit side skirts with a lil work... fit.. to save a couple hundred.. it all just depends...

i seriously dont see the need for urethane side skirts... or rear... but the front on the other hand... thats about it... fiberglass front ends suck... thats where your prone to bump stuff.. so.. yeah.. urethane front ends... fiberglass the rest..

like i said.. it all depends.... like how low your car is.. how low the side skirts hang... ect.....

calm down captain comeback. i wasn't trying to get you all worked up.
I know the facts of life by now thanks. I dont mind fiberglass, ive had it before with no problems ( as long as its not some $50 ebay part). I was hoping something like c-west was a good fit. It would match the lines of my front bumper better than oem sides. Im sure something out there fits better than others. correct?
does that help you help me help you?

1. You said OEM was hard to find. It's not.

2. There's a picture thread. Dig through there for cars you like, and PM/email/MSG the owners to see how fitment was

3. Search by company, GP sports, Cwest, Msport, V:S, Vertex, Uras, etc, and see what feedback people got. Or, again, contact the owner.

A broad post like "what side skirt fits good on an s14"? doesn't accomplish much

Furthermore, even within a company, there's no gaurantee you're going to get a good side skirt. Even if C-west has good fitment reputation, your particular piece is no sure thing to be up to par. Some companies are, obviously, better than others, but no aftermarket piece will have quality standards as high as OEM Nissan.

If you care so much about fitment, go OEM. Otherwise, get whateveryou think looks and be prepared to pay a body shop to make it perfect.

He's not getting mad. He's making a point, which believe it or not, is valid.

Nothing fits better and is as good quality as oem. And its not that hard to find. Check ebay or the for sale section. Hell, check my sig.

You dont want oem. Ok, thats fine. As you already know there's a crap load of aero companies out there. Vertex, C-West, Origin, M-Sports, Uras, BN Sports, etc. All those companies are good, but its not a gurantee that the set you get will fit perfect. Its fiberglass. It warps. So some trimming may be necessary. Just pick the one you think looks nice and if it doesnt fit super perfect, take it to a body shop and have them trim them a little bit.

There, i just told you exactly what optionzero has been telling you in his last couple of posts....

Dude, STFU. PLEASE. You're really annoying. You come on here asking for opinions and then when somebody tells you the truth, you get all butt hurt. You obviously had your mind set already, so why even bother making this thread in the first place?! Buy what YOU want for YOUR car. end of story. Dont ask for peoples help when you really dont want and or need it. If anybody has a second rate attitude, its you. What a tool...

I should've locked this BS a lot sooner.
