cant go above 2500rpms? help!

Alright.. i fixed my fuel problem and w.e after i replaced my headgasket and i started it. Idles kinda smooth but when i drive it i can go above 2500 rpms when i try it like starts shaking and shit (seems like theres a rev limiter) and randomly while im driving it will stall when i have the clutch in or if im in neutral. The gas is almost 7months old too but its close to a full tank so i have no where to dump it. Is it a timing problem or MAFS or wtf?
