Alright, so I'm just about to buy a Spearco intercooler with the measurements of 27x10x3. It's a pretty decent size intercooler and I'm wondering how much modification I will have to persue to get this thing to fit. Has anyone done an intercooler similar to this size on their S13?? I looked a the space where it should go...and it looked like even a small intercooler wouldn't fit easy. Lol. Anything would be helpful...thanks

u have to cut bumper support and possibly bumper. u should expect this with a fmic.

yeah, i've already expected this. I guess I'm just gonna have to get it and then just see what i have to hack at once I put it on...

I think I have the same intercooler as you. The only thing holding my Spearco on is the center bracket. Been fitting fine for a good 1/2 year now, track days and all.

That's it stays on there with one bracket.....how much of what did you have to cut to fit it??? fairly moderate?

i fyou're not looking ot get past like 250hp, look into precision's tiny intercooler. They make one that will fit under the bumper support w/o any modification to it at all

Yeah...i've seen those. I'm definatly looking past those numbers. I'd almost rather not have one hooked up than have one of those tiny ass things on the front. But thanks for the sugestion!

sorry, i lied, its rated to 350hp

and it's 6" tall 3.5" thick and 21.5" wide i believe

If you read my post again, you might see that I was not complaining, just trying to get an idea of how much I would have to hack.
