Ok guys, Sochbat and I are chillin and he asked a really good question. If Batman was real and lived in this present day what kind of car would he drive?? Im thinking some kind of Ferrarie or something like that . Its gonna have to be widebody so it can fit all those guns and missiles. Or mabey a Mclaren F1.

If he was in modernday America, it COULD be a McLaren IF he follows the following guidelines.

A) He'd have to build it from the ground up starting with a twintube chassis, and custom F1 shell casting.
B) Build up an engine to a minimum of 700HP, and decrease body weight.
C) Equip himself and his car with the TOPTIER of weaponry etc etc.
D) Carry around 3k lbs of stuff and STILL catch up to the badguy.
E) Feasibly Be Able to climb buildings if called for.

i think batman begins got it pretty accurate

something huge and bullet proof, with the ability to knock down or drive over cars and other obstacles in an urban setting.

the car in that movie was actually pretty functional, minus the jump jet thingy of course.

austrian built for the swiss army. this particular one is a 6x6. i have always wanted one of these. more badass then a hummer H1 offroad. they now make them in england. can only be imported if they are like 20 years old, and after being discharged from the military.

it would be custom everything, and he would have multiple backups and variations for different situations, plus he would have them stored across Gotham so he could access them whenever he wanted.

There might be a batmobile in wherever Robin is hanging out, possibly one in SF since thats where Robin works when he's with the Teen Titans.

Nightwing doesn't use a batmobile, but he has a custom car with Mclaren engine.

Batgirl only uses a bike.

Oracle has a custom van.

Huntress uses a bike.

Alfred drives the pimp cars that Bruce Wayne owns.

If Someone just happened to buy one, im sure they've got a list of owners. And then narrow it down by area, (Gotham City F1 Owners: Bruce Wayne) and then people seeing it on the streeets! "OH SHIT! BATMAN DRIVES AN F1!!" Game over.

I really thought the tank in Begins was REALLY well designed, as for functionality, feasibility, and looks.

This is all based on the fundamentals that Batman is better than Superman because he doesn't have any gay ass superpowers and bullshit, getting by on sheer ingenuity and bunch of toys... James Bond, on the other hand, goes a step further, since he doesn't have the unrealistic gadgets and shit, he drives cars that we can own, he uses guns that we can own (up to and including the Walther PPK, I LOVE that weapon), he gets good chicks in the movies and has a BILLION one-liners that have and will be used for a long time coming... I like Batman, but in a comparison to Bond, FUCK Batman.
