I have seen that type of stuff before... with them even rigging those to run off the battery too... no real gains though, and sometimes they create a spinning vortex in the intake manifold and the engine runs rich cause no air is actually getting in... (rich is too much gas or too much air... oh well) but ya. Novel idea if it worked.
