When i first got my sr i ripped it apart an wanted to build it. I took it to a shop around here and asked for help
the owner said that since i didnt mark the main end caps in order that i would need to have it align bored. He had that done, or so he says. I later found out that the sr is marked from the factory, needless to say i was pissed. well im not sure if this block was actually align bored or i got suckered. If it was do i need to buy larger main bearings? and if so then is there a way to check and make sure that it was done? thanks for any help you can give me.

if i understand right to alighn bore,. they take your caps and block cut some off of both, then rebore the holes for the crank to a stock spec for the holes, kinda like what they do to resize connecting rod big ends.
