Well, I finally got around to sending in a donation just now, hopefully this hasn't been forgotten by everyone. I would have loved to donate more through Zilvia, but my company is matching donations dollar for dollar, so the bulk of my donation went through them to maximize the benefit.

I would also like to suggest that the second payment be given to a different organization than the Red Cross. It's not that I have anything against them, but I saw an article the other day that said that the Red Cross has received over 80% of all donations made to Katrina relief efforts, and there are lots of other great organizations out there that could use the money as well.

ps - I forgot to include my username, but it shouldn't be too hard to figure out.

hey, as promised, i have just sent my donations in. sent in a total of 52 bucks hopefully after the fees it is still above 50 bucks which was the mark i wanted to make. already have money in for the Drifting 4 Katrina as well [30 bucks there]

c'mon poeple!! we have 444 views here! im sure you can spare 10 bucks. 10 bucks aint shiet.

my 5lug n VSKF can wait, the help needed for these people CANNOT!

Since I happen to live in BR and have already donated AT LEAST that much... think I can have all that stuff anyways?

Hell, I'm loaning my 240 to my brother for at least 3 months because he lost his car when it was parked in his house and he got 3 feet of water.

Im from jefferson parish, thankyou guys for everything, I'm back home and it has a VERY ERRIE feeling....its so0 deserted,....even on bourbon street (where I work)... thank god my house is ok, and i took my car to escape, so that's fine, but my g/f's car tookd 4 feet of water
