damn, is there really going to be that big of a demand that you have to pay almost $7000 just to get on a waiting list?

I don't like the sound of this. 13 bids just for the deposit... sounds like 350z might become a mustang (popularity wise)

I seriously doubt that will happen. &nbsp;Basically all the Z enthusiasts bought them up, and then it will be up to the public to determine how well they sell. &nbsp; Its a hell of a car for the price, Im just not sure what people will think about the looks and lack of a back seat. &nbsp; They really need to make a turbo model. <img src="http://www.zilvia.net/f/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/smile.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=''>

Well mustangs are also cheap and got the looks.... I think that if they are sold through to decmeber 2003, we are prolly looking at about 1000-1500 cars there.... maybe more....thats alot. The next year (2004) there will be even more of them since people are buying it so well... I'd hate to see Zs turn out as mustangs :/

that's fine, let all the first year of production Z's be bought up. those are the ones that always have the most problems anyway, i'll just get the 2nd or 3rd year when the entire car has been fine tuned and refined.

True, i was planning on doing this too before i bought my 240 (wait 2 years and then buy a used 350z) but hey, if they get anywhere close to civics and mustangs popularity wise, i'm not buying it.

honestly Nissan should be so lucky as to sell as many 350z's in america as Ford does mustangs. &nbsp; That would help them tremendously

Have you guys seen the colors they are offering? &nbsp;some neat looking stuff.

It isn't a scam. They did it for the M3's and TT's and hell probably even for PT Cruisers. There is no feedback because they only do it with hyped cars and when was the last time a nissan dealer had a hyped car to sell on ebay. Anyways, don't bid if you think it's a scam but I'm 98% it isn't.
