RWD is more "upper class"
Look at all of the German cars, everyone of the higher up's is rwd. I just wish rwd would make the comeback not because of drifting or anything dumb like that but just because of proper balance, ease of maintainence, handling, and predictability.

For many reasons:

Camry is a mass market vehicle and typical Camry buyer will never really value a FR setup.
FF platforms also allow for more interior space and the general public that lives in the Northeast/Snowy places doesn't really want RWD unless the vehicle is equipped with electronic stability control.

Am I the only person wondering why Camry spy shots have made it onto zilvia?

Gotta give some credit to the designers of new cars nowadays... never before has cheap and boring looked so expensive.

People don't buy depending on the drive train. The cars are FF because it makes it more comfortable to have people sitting in the back seats. (No driveshaft hump in between the rear seats.)

That doesn't make sense....cars like the S-Class can seat people in the back comfortably. I know its an exagerrated example....haha...but still....

People buying cars like an S class aren't buying a car for MAXIMUM passenger capacity. Also, the S Class is larger than a Camry.

How about a Dodge Magnum? That can seat people comfortably and it caters to those looking for capacity space (storage). Still lost at what your trying to point out from your previous post and just given you a hard time.

BTW...people that are looking for MAXIMUM passenger capacity buy a minivan, van or suv.

Me thinks that the camry would get better MPG and be more economical to operate than the magnum? no?

I really hate the way new cars are going. The taillight basic shape and design remind of that of the Honda Accord, wich in turn remind me also of course of the Hyundai Sonato (IIRC thats the model I'm thinking of.) I really dislike the interior and exterior designs. IMHO they just carry poor aesthetic value.
