Does anyone out there know if the KA auto transmission controller will work with an SR auto transmission?

Yes and no. The chassis uses the same basic unit, though the JDM box does not have cruise control inputs and does have the PWR/ECO switch controls. You can swap them as you would any other controller with this understanding some options may/may not work.

S13 -> S13
S14 -> S14

All I am really concerned about is that the tranny works and shifts properly. I don't care if cruise doesn't work, etc. Just as long as it shifts into all gears and drives the car. Correct me if I am wrong, but from what you are saying I gather the KA box will do that with the SR tranny.

Yes, shift points and major programming are the same.
