i am in process in changing my catalytic convertor and i am wondering if it is necessary to replace the gasket? the catco 2.5" gasket is too small for my exhaust and i think i would have to reuse the gasket. will that cause problems?

EDIT: "Too small"- I mean the gasket hole doesnt line up with my oem bolt holes.

probably not. Just make sure its not broken, but there usually metal so they dont really ware out.

there will probably be a leak in the exhaust. any enhaust shop around your area should have the proper gaskets.
