s13 5 lug conversion help

so i was reading up on some forums about how/what you need for a 5 lug conversion for a s13 and this one forum said for the rear all i would need is JUST the 5 lug hub and bearings from a s14. is this true or would i need the whole deal like the spindles and stuff

another question, since i'm upgrading to a 5 lug. would that mean i could just use the 240sx 95+98 rotors on my stock brakes? or would i have to redrill my stock ones. thank you for the people that helped me

Easiest(labor/work) wise is to get the S14 full front spindles and lower control arms. For the rear you only need the hub assembly itself. You can use the s14 5-lug rotors too. This route all you need to do is unbolt everything and bolt the 5-lug setup in. The front spindles upper strut mounts holes are different sizes. Some have had thin metal sleeves machined while others just drill the two holes wider on the bottom of the strut.

Hey guys, what about the lower control arm's ball joint mount for the hub/spindle assembly?

How did u dislodge the smaller ball joint out of the S13 LCA and put in the bigger S14 LCA ball joint?

I'm kinda stuck here.. anyone do this yourself rather than in a shop?

John
