Hey, Guys I got a problem.  2 questions  I have a 97 240sx se  with the XS turbo kit
1 the code was 32 EGR  Will this put the car into save mode?
2 where is the wiring harness for the EGR is it the one that you can see under the runners on the intake manifold?

my EGR is fried as well.......same code i think, i've been having the same problem ever since august, i think it's just a carbon buildup in the valve so it tends to stick every once in a while so then the engine light comes on, this happens for me after i make long drives (MN to KS), car doesn't want to start and idles real rough, this problem can be remedied by driving real real hard for a while and blowing/burning that carbon out of there

at least this seems to be my situation, tell me some more about yours, perhaps we can help each other out

to test your egr with the car running pull up on the valve and your car should start to die out. that means its workin. then you can take it off and pour water into the inlet and see if it leaks out if so. then your egr is leakin and will need a new one those are quick and easy tests
