I have the full tein system And truely enjoy them, I don't get to the track events as much as I should, if at all, but I do drive hard, and they have not let me down, any other car that I've driven had the full tein tie rod & ends special, and they are completely satified with the setup. .. .

there, I hope this took a load off yah back Dousan, you owe me!

Nope... Z32 inners are too short to use. They have to be used with the longer Z32 outer endlinks. Tein outers are S14 size (too SHORT). You'd get... like 4 inches of toe out trying to use Tein outers and Z32 inners.

ftl? well $450 vs. $733 yeah i'm am not going all out full track/race car off road use only... if i was i would probably go with spl. but i'm trying to get all my other stuff as well. example ebc, 300zx brakes, safcII, detach steering w., cam lock harnesses, rims, tires, roll bar etc... so yeah. is it that bad of a choice? like i said i haven't heard anything going wrong with either , and if i have (which i have) it was taken care of immediately!!!! besides in my current situation the money/job situation isn't in the best of shape. if you want details pm me heh.

im not a full out race car
i think of it this way
450 now. vs another 450 when the fall apart or get crappy

spl, buy it once, be done! no need to upgrade!!

and u dont need ALL the arms. just rucas and toes, dont waste money on the forward, its not really necessary car is fine w/o it.

harness is USELESS unless you have the proper bucket seat, and you should have a good roll bar too of course.

Powertrix doesn't use the zerk fitting rod ends anymore, they have the teflon lined ones, comes with dust boots also.
I have the rear toe/track rods and the quality is pretty good/price!
SPL tie rod ends for sure, gonna order them soon!

tein is s14 tie rods and ends w/ spacer
not z32

if i did it all over i would have ended up w/ what i have now

s14 inners (tein same as s14), splparts.com outers, spl/uras spacer

bumpsteer is next to none, handling is great, angle is wonderful and if i bust up my tie rod, any autoparts store willhave s14s as well as the dealer if needs be. replaces are cheap and easy.
this is on a s14 right? what would you use on s13? can you use z32 inners?

i feeel like im taking crazy pills!!
YOU CANNOT USE Z32 inners w/o z32 outters!!
you can use z32 on s13/s14 but you need to match everything
its that simple

s14/s13 is interchangealbe between chassis, jsut have to use the same outters

s14 inner+s14 outer
s13 inner+s13 outer
z32 inner+z32 outer

SPL is the way to go. Good people, good service, great products.

BTW spl sells the inners Z32 tie rods for $66. Does anyone know a cheaper source besides junkyards. Guess I could stop by Autozone and such to find out but if anyone here alreayd knows...

at Kragen, Autozone, etc. I've seen some Z32 tie rods go for $30... $40... $50. I don't really know any physical differences about them. Only thing is the brand, although I have never heard of any of them. I may be buying some z32 inners from one of those stores and getting the SPL ends

I'm far from the great driver...I don't drift or autocross so it's not a big deal to me...but I do like to take "spirited" drives. I'm a pussy when it comes to bumpsteer. I'm used to adjusting the car and accelerator but the car would be a lot more fun if bumpsteer didn't pop up on every little uneven road. It gets annoying after a while. I should just get something like a G35 but I wish my 240 could handle similar. Nice drop, decent ride and good handling. That to me would be perfect.

BTW I have the SPLs but right now no power steering so I can't give an accurate review.

Yeah, I have the newer PowerTRIX RUCA (WITHOUT the zerk fitting). I havent heard/seen anyone complain about it. Quality was fine, and I didnt have any problem with it while I was driving my s13 daily.

I'll be getting the SPL tie rods though.
