Nor-Cal driving

Hey whats up people. if u havent met me im juice. I live in northern cali well basiklly i have got my driving skills up 2 the point where i wanna push my car a little further and experience what my car is capable of. I just want to know if people have ideas or examples of what kind of spots they go to when they first start out drifting. Any feedback or spots around nor-cal that are know would be great and appreciated. O yea and just random parking lots are kinda iffy for 1 the cops around here dont like car enthusiest or black people wit gold teeth haggin out the window so imtryin to stay as low key as possible. Flam if you want because at the end of the day I STILL LOVE MY CAR! thank you any advice is appreciated.

drift in...
streets: drift one corner and bounce. you're in big trouble if you get caught, and there's not much to learn in that environment.

parking lots: chance of getting caught is high, but it's usually a safe place to figure out what you and your car can do.

mountains: depending on which roads, the chance of getting caught is slim to none. very dangerous (cliffs, animals), but the tight tolerances can make you a good driver.

parking lot events: almost no danger of hitting things besides cones, so it's great for learning. gets boring as you get better though. have to pay modest entry fee

track events: as challenging as the mountains, but with almost no danger as long as you drive in your limits. have to pay a somewhat more expensive entry fee

drifting in norcal pretty much sucks as far as legal drifting. there is lack of events going on for people to actually improve in there skills. i know ncda and ddnorcal are trying there best to put on events. i think socal is the place to be to really improve skills at the track. i hope norcal steps up the game and brings us more track events at more locations. night drifts at altamont is fun but the track doesent leave you a lot of room for error as there is walls all around you and the infield is not paved.

would be nice if someone decided to hand out a large lump sum... to build a drift park in the north bay or altamont area. preferably id like to see a park in the sonoma, petaluma area.
