My windshiled wipers have issues.

The knob adjusting speeds does not control anything, and the only speeds it knows are fast and very fast.

Also, once I turn my wipers on, they will not go off, they will change speeds, but when I move the switch they don't turn off.

They do go on when I activate the wiper fluid.

Could this be a switch issue? Any thoughts...

I have the exact same problem. Before I installed my SR it worked fine, now it don't. Don't know whats wrong either.

make sure the motor is grounded right ( wiper motor )

i had the exact same problem and the problem was simple, when you guys were pluggin in the wiper module to the harness make sure you didnt bend any of the pins inside the module, i had 1 pin out of place then when i plugged in the module it bent it even more so there was no connection on one pin. i suggest you guys unplug the module and just take a look. i found one bent and just got a flathead and straighten it, now it works fine

Old thread, but today I got around to it haha.

I located the wiper amp and I unplugged it.
Now they turn off but the intermittent wipers don't work... As expected when I remove the amp - But I didn't realize that the other two speeds would work correctly and that it would turn off when I put the lever back in the off position.

I plugged it back in and once again it does the same thing stated before.

The amp is doing something...
(I think).

Could this still be a bad amp somehow or what might the issue be?
(Checked all prongs, they look good).

It's still the amp. The amp controls the intermittent setting, if damaged it will allow for current to run continually to the motor.

This happened to me as well. It was a bad fuse in my case.

hmmm... so where's the wiper amp? All i can do to turn mine on is switch it to the highest speed and then when I turn it off it won't go back all the way down. It will just stop right where it is. 0.0

Left or right strut tower depending upon equipment, towards the rear of the car. Download an FSM from zeroyon.com and look for it in the EL section.

Dorifto this is 99% a bad wiper amp or no amp at all.
Same symptoms as when I run no amp.
The wiper amp plug will probobly be (when looking at the engine bay) on the left of the motor in the back corner. Look down in there for a bit it's a 3 prong plug and the amp itself is brown if you even have one in there.
If this has been the problem ever since you bought the previous owner might actually not have an amp in there.

~I fixed the original problem, bought an amp from R240, works like new.
