SR s14sr throw out bearing question

I have a zenki s14 with an sr. I pulled my tranny today after hearing and feeling disturbing things. I went around a corner in full throttle in 1st shifted to 2nd hard and the pedal stuck to the floor. The clutch started to engage then it was fully disengaged. I pulled the pedal off the floor with my foot and now the clutch was engaging at the bottom of the pedal stroke instead of the top were it usually did and it engaged rough and made a loud winning rubbing noise and was clicking all the time. With my foot on the pedal i could feel i rough vibration.
So I pulled the tranny and i found a destroyed throw out bearing that the fork had slipped of one of the tabs which explains the change in were the clutch engaged at.
What concerns me is that the throw out bearing come no where near to fitting snugly on the imput shaft Im pretty sure thats not normal?????
I know its supossed to be greased and rotate but im sure the quarter inch gap of play i have isnt normal
I will try to post pictures if you can help me out id appreciate it thanks!

looks like you have the same problem as me. I'm not sure what happened but it looks like the TO bearing got stuck onto the thing that it slides on to and broke it off the transmission front cover.

btw this is on a s13 sr.

I dont need to replace that stuff its not the problem the problem is that there is nothing for the throw out bearing to sit on. I planned on getting that debri all out for sure. I plan on replacing the tob, pb just to make it all fresh so i can hammer on it.

HEY DIZBJELLO, did you end up buying that piece from the dealership or where can i get it. If so what did it cost and what was the part number. I assume this part is not the same as on a ka. I need to get my car fixed fast i got to get back to california this happened in seattle im stuck lol I live in cali!

There is a ''slide'' that the t/o bering is supose to ride on, yours is demolished! It is part of the plate that ''dizb's'' photo is pointing at. You need to replace the whole plate. New gasket, new plate, 20 min, you are installing your tranny! Or get one from a wrecking yard if you trust it.
