KA Fan clicking?

Hey whats up guys this is my first post but i'm not completely new to the forums. I just recently bought a 96' S14 and ran it into a curb... Anyways I had to change some of the susp on my front passager side but its all good now. I didn't post cause i figured i could just search and find what i needed... which i did.
Anyways now i got this weird noise comming from my fan. Right when i start the car i'll hear a little bit of clicking. Then when i rev it up a little >3000rpm and let off teh gas i'll hear it again. If i go <3000rpm it sounds like more of a grinding. I was just wondering if anyone knew why my fan would be doing this or if it even is my fan that's causing the problem. My car isn't throwing any codes or anything and it runs fine but its just the noise that pisses me off.

Check the obvious, your fan blades may be contacting something? My Altima e-fans will sometimes contact the piping for the AC dryer (I think thats what it is) if they're not secured right up against the radiator. GL

KA

Try removing your timing chain guides. There is a guide of Knighstalkers.com or try Projectraine's Car domain site for a link. It is known that the ka24's have a timing chain guide problem and they should be removed, i'm still waiting to remove mine.
