OKay, Ive narrowed the list of engine's im possibly thinking of dropping into a 90 240SX down to these.

VG30DETT

SR20DET (Redtop)

KA24DE

Wich would you do based on these things.

Street legalibilty is a Must.
Must pass Emmissions/Smog.
Parts availibitly

Im trying to decide if a Swap is a good idea because of what i hear about the KA
but i want the Performance of the SR, and i wouldnt mind the All out lunacy of a VG in a 240,

If those are your criteria, then KA24DE.  The SR doesn't pass emissions, assuming Utah has emissions (I know Florida doesnt), it's definately street legal, considering it will pass emissions (the only criteria to make it street legal), and with the VG30DETT almost every part will have to be custom.  I like the SR better, but if you have those criteria, go with the KA.
