Due to the  minimal bends and the price, I think I might go with this exhaust. Does anyone have anything good or bad to say about this particular one. Is it worth it to spend the extra $100 for the extra pipe? Thanks in advance.

i had a single apex n1...when i say had i mean i still have the single one on my car but i had a shop weld another pipe with another single n1 right next to the existing one so i have dual n1's right now...but they r a lot bigger and louder than the dual n1s that come straight from apex...i love the n1 and would not get any other exhaust for my car...oh yeah my car is a 95 jus to let u know...i would say spend the extra hundred and get the single n1...u wont regret it...the only thing, which some may say is a downside but personally i like it, is that when u downshift the n1 will sort of make a poppin noise sort of like its backfiring but not that loud...i personally like that sound and think this exhaust is the best!!!

The N1 single I think was dynoed in SCC a while back. I don't have it though, but I think they got a good gain.

The Dual is supposed to have more backpressure at low RPMs but still have plenty of flow (even more than the single) at high rpms. At least thats what Apexi says, but they could be just BSing.

To me it's worth it to get dual, just to not look like all the Honda guys with their $75 "Performance Muffler" on their stock piping.

The dual has more bends in it and therefore has more backpressure and also more low-end power. I was thinking of getting the single due to the lack of backpressure and for the price as well. I really pity anyone who thinks a hatchback 240 with an Apex'i N1 Exhaust looks like someone with a "performance muffler" on their civic. Not trying to offend you, Duffy!

I don't it think it looks like a riced up Civic, but everyone else will. Not everyone knows what 240sx or N1 exhaust is. If there were more of us, and less of them, it wouldn't be such a big deal.

Maybe I just care too much about what everyone else thinks.

Anyways, the dual has a larger diameter and the single has less bends. Which will produce more HP? Also which would be better with an SR?

I dont' know which would be better with an SR nor do I care <img src="http://www.zilvia.net/f/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/smile.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=':)'>. Not quite Anti-SR but actually Pro-KA. The Dual has about 5.5&quot; of displacement (diameter) together. The Single is 2.75&quot;. Still not bad with a turbo app.

I like the KA too, but mines got 125,000 miles on it, so slapping a turbo on it would be cruel to the poor thing.

Or you can just get another low-mileage KA from someone who's swapping for an SR and plant it in there. There's also the option of getting new/forged pistons, piston rings and connecting rods as well as having a valve-job done in addition with some new re-ground cams. That's all something anyone who wants to make some serious power would want to do with their KA. Or so you would think. The car that I'm buying has 107K on it. I'm not planning on turboing it unless I've at least had someone look at the internals. Actually, I'll probably test the compression and see if there might have been any damage to begin with before I think of anything else. But I don't think that motor is gonna stay in there. And if it does, the internals are definitely going... at least some of them.

Supposedly, the '91-'93 KAs had better pistons then the '95-'98 KAs. I've been told that the stock internals on '91-'93 KAs can safely handle up to 10psis of boost before any danger. The '91 is known to have good cams. I don't know much else about internals, unfortunately. But anyway... unless the compression is way off and you know of some knocks... I'd say get a new motor. Otherwise, just do a rebuild on the old one.

Boostdynamics has the single for 400 and the dual for 500. Actually I think the dual should only be like 50 bucks more but so many places are out of stock that it's being marked up.

In my personal opionion, if you want a single can look, get the 5Zigen fireball. &nbsp;Better NA exhaust, and looks. &nbsp;The dual is just an awsome looking exhuast and for the fact that it is only available for &nbsp;the 240 and the Rx-7 should be enough reason to get it (you'll never see a civic sweating your style). &nbsp;I don't think the low end gains match the fireballs, but up top should be about the same and it sounds so sweet.

Will boost dynamics have a 5Zigen fireball sale too? &nbsp;Who can post the lowest price? &nbsp;You or autoimaging? &nbsp;Will anyone cut me a deal if I get a B&amp;M SS at the same time? :wink:

PLUS the rx-7 version of the N1 Dual comes out each side at the factory points, not at one point like the 240. &nbsp;but unfortunately i'm sure u guys have started to see the universal dual mufflers now available. &nbsp;I saw an integra with one of these the other day, it came out straight back however, not at an angle like N1s. &nbsp;
