i was wondering if the secondary butterfly inside the upper intake manifold is necessary. will it mess anything up on my car? BTW its a 91 240.

Welcome to zilvia. No it is not nessary to have the secondary butterfly's, they can be removed, Go to the ''serch'' at the top of this page and pull up secondary butterfly, it will show you. Just a tip, always use the serch first. if you are not satisfied with what you find, then post. Good luck
