tnx ! do i need to change the lower panel when changing to jdm kouki taillight or the U.S. vers. will do?

you do not have to change the lower panel..it just sits about 1/4 inch back from the bottom of the taillights..not flush like the stock one...not a big difference..you wouldnt even notice if you werent looking for it

You don't have to change it, but in order for it to look OEM and for correct fitment you do. Thats like saying you can put a hatch rear bumper on a coupe. Yes you can do it, it wont fit correctly or you might have to tweak it a bit, but you can. Its all personal preference I suppose, but I like my parts to fit correctly and appear as if they belong.
