KA VLSD From 300zx n/a

Hey all, This is my first post here. I just bought my first 240, 95. I know A little bit about the car already, but I hope to learn more as I spend more time here. For now the car is my daliy driver that I dont want to do a whole lot to.
The Fast Car is my 90 Dodge Daytona 2.5 turbo SOHC. I Have quite a bit done to it. My fastest time in it at the track is a 14.0 At 98mph with a 2.6 60ft time. I had bald tires leaky BOV and #1 piston had 60PSI of compression (cracked piston). Curently it is going through a real good rebuild and I hope to see Low 13's to High 12's next month.

I found an LSD for may car for $150 from a Salvage yard. Is this a good price or should I save up for a Quiafe?

Thanks

Do a little research on the diff thing. There are posts everywhere about what fits and what doesn't but I will go ahead and tell you that to fit the z32na diff you have to use j30 axles and you are just better off buying a s14 JDM diff off of ebay or something that has the correct output flange pattern.

who gives a fuck about a dodge daytona, where in your damn post do you ask a particular question about a fucking vlsd from a z32 (rant). all you state is that you have a 95 240 and that's it. what do you want to know?

I don't think it would be worth dishing the money out for a VLSD. Save up and go for a clutch-type later.

^^^ Depends on your application.

If you wanna drift...then yeah, someday you'll probably want to upgrade to a 2-way.

If you auto-x and do HPDE / road course events...then a S15 Helical would be better, but a VLSD is fine. ANd all R200VLSD'd are as good as the next...Z32, J30, S13/S14, Q45...use whatever, some require more parts than others to make them bolt into your 240.

VLSD is perfectly fine starting out. if you can find the output shafts from the junker for cheap, go for it. if you have to buy them brand new from the dealer you'll end up spending more money.
