It needs some work, mostly brakes and tires.

The rear-right rim needs to be fixed as it has a big dent. I need new pads and calipers for the rear wheels. Two new tires at the back. Wipers also need some looking at, but other then that everything else seems to be in order.

It has 160K kms.
Let me know what you guys think.

The fender flares aren't that bad, i've seen worse....

I'm not a fan of the rims or the front bra, but the exhaust isn't stock? That's a bonus.

5 speed? hopefully! all in all, nice car dude

Looks to be in good condition for being that old! I don't care for all the chrome, but the body looks to be in good shape. Nice exhaust too!

Here is MHO:
1 Take off the bra. In the end your paint will fade at different rates and when dirt gets in between the bra and your paint the dirt will ALWAYS WIN!!!

2. Drop the chrome fender flares it is not attractive with the color of your car (and I personally don't like it but like I said MHO)

3. I would sell those rims and get something more sporty like Enkei RP-01

4. Other than that I think your car is great (because it is a 240sx)

I agree with everything he says, but if u can paint the fender flares red if u can, if they match its a great look IMO

Ya it is a 5 speed, also the chrome fenders are nice IMO. Maybe I could take them off someday, I just shudder to think how the wheel well trim looks without them. Rust perhaps.. I don't want to know. I guess I could paint them, but I think that will look even worse.

The rims are alright, I might replace them next spring. They are Progressive 16" I am not sure which model, if someone knows of the Progressive website let me know

Ya, exhaust isn't stock, actually I havn't even really looked at it. It does sounds pretty good. I will get some engine pictures later after I get the tune up done and do some cleaning up of things.

I also have a small rattling under the hood, I think it is my timing chain, but I am not sure. Getting the mechanic to look at it while he is doing all the brake work.

As far as I know the bra has been on the car its whole life, so the paint I gather has faded already. I did take the bra off to check the front end, it didn't look too bad, hmm not sure.

I also need to get some new relays for the front headlights, a few lightbulbs are dead also I have to put a stereo in and get the interior professionally cleaned cuz the previous owner was a heavy smoker and it just reaks in the car. Any tips for removing the smell?

Hah, good luck getting the smell out. Maybe throw a dead fish in there to mask it?
If you have leather like me, 11 years of smoking itn't going anywhere. I could not find a shop that said they would clean the smell out of my leatehr seats, headliner, leather ship knob, and leather wheel. The good news is, you can get it out of most cloth. What you need in febreeze for auto, available at walmart. Febreeze everything except for vinyl, glass, and the headliner. Do this once a week for a month and it should be gone. However, the headliner still smells. A product called ozium can work too. Maybe a pro can help the headliner
Now I cam curious as to what kind of exhaust that is. Oh, the rear wiper rests in the vertical position.
You can still be able to get rid of the rear dealer badge. It may be faded quite a bit, but nothing alot of buffing won't fix.
Good luck!
Natty

I think that if your scared of what the car will look like with the chrome fender flares off I would paint them and I think that it would look pretty good. I would also like to know what kind of exhaust that is if you ever find out.

Its rushed but your car looks better without. I didnt have time to take off the bra and the wheels could be better.

Lol thanks Mike. It does look pretty good without the chrome Let me fix the little things so I can pass my safety inspection, then I will start looking at getting some new rims and painting/removing the chrome wheel trims.
