Weird problem with SR.....

I just got done putting my SR20 back together. I took it apart because it was spitting oil out the PCV tube under boost and had low compression in the front 2 cylinders. Sounded like rings but took off the oil pan and saw the oil pick up broke off so that explains the pressure in the crankcase and the valves werent seating fully because it had a lot of carbon buildup. So I did a valve job, installed a re-inforced oil pickup and put it back together. I start it up and its pushing straight exhaust out the PCV tube. The compression is still low in the front 2 cylinders. The compression was 100, 110, 170, 170 1-4 respectively. Im thinking rings but what do you think?
