Knew I should've gotten an SR!!

So... we were autocrossing today, and the plan was to start up a mini- grill and cook some hot dogs. But, being lazy bums, we didn't feel like making a mess with the charcoal and having open fire around a bunch of cars that might be spewing fuel at any moment. So, what to do? Being very hungry, yet ingenuitive 240sx owners, we thought "hey! what heats up to around 1000 degrees that we don't have to clean up afterwards?!" The answer:

Yup. Those are hot dogs wrapped in aluminum foil, sitting on the heat shield of an SR20DET manifold. Sucks that the heat shield is aluminum, or it wouldn't have taken so long to cook. Should've used my manifold... but the top mount turbo makes it a hassle. With the hood closed, though, the weiners didn't take very long to get hot enough to eat.

Quotes of the day:
"Hmm... wish I could toast the buns." (reply)"That's what the valve cover is for."

"Try not to get any ketchup on my valve cover, please."

"So if you do a run with the hot dogs on there.... they'll be done sooner, right?"

Man.... autocrossing is fun
