![]() hmm i posted before about a strange idling problem. basically the car would idle funny coasting in reverse or while turning the wheel. sitting around last night in a parking lot i finally figured it out. the car was on and parked. i was turning the wheel back and forth and noticed that the idle was going nuts again. it hit me that the power steering system was sucking power from the engine at idle and the engine wasn't compensating properly. i was happy i figured it out until i realized i had no idea what to do about it.
so, short of ripping out my power steering what can i do to fix this up? |
