S13 runs but dies when throttle is pressed

First off thank you for any help you can provide me with, and I am pretty new to the 240 world. So I replaced the head gasket on my 91 240 KA24DE over the past few days motor is 100% stock. After putting everything back together to spec I got the car to start up and idles at about 800 rpm but the second you press the throttle down the car dies. I have checked the and the fuel pump is kicking on the TPS is working correctly and the injectors seem to we working correctly. any ideas on what else the problem could be would be much appreciated.
