1998 rb26dett 240sx

Hey guys, got my baby back up for sale. She's a 1998 240sx se with around 165,000 miles on the chassis. Pretty clean minus a ripple in the paint on the rear quarter panel. The heart of the car is a r33 rb26dett that I swapped into the car about 3 years ago now. The motor is running on stock internals but was taken apart and serviced before the swap. I replaced the headgasket, waterpump (n1), oil pump (n1), Thermostat (nismo), Type B Poncams, Hks gt2530 turbos, and new gaskets. The head was decked and hot tanked and the valve guides were replaced. Overall a very clean motor with mods that can take the car above the 500hp range. At this point in time I have the car tuned on 93 octane at 12lbs of boost and the car makes 395whp and 310tq. Pretty good numbers considering the turbos are good up to 22lbs of boost. The reason the car is not running at its full potential is that I am only running a 255 fuel pump on the stock injectors. Has power steering and heat, but no AC.

To fix:
1) There is a very small weep on the oil pan. When I was fabricating the oil pan I had to shave down the aluminum fins for it to fit on the subframe and subsequently the pan now leaks about a drop or two of oil every couple weeks. Something so minimal I never bothered to fix it and do not see any real loss of oil between changes. I was quoted $650 for the fix.

2) One of the N1 bolt holes is slightly elongated and when placing on the standard block you need to slightly modify the hole to prevent a water leak. The N1 pump still needs this modification on the car and therefore has a small water leak. Talked to 240smotoring and it should only require a couple hours of work.

With a little over $1,000 dollars of work to make this swap really flawless I reduced the amount of the car from $16,000 to $14,000. But wait! There's more!

Extras: If you buy for the asking price I will throw in:

A couple videos:

Made this video 3 years back after first completing the swap. Was making around 350 to the wheels in altitude (Boulder, CO)

The start up. Kind of like watching the birth of new born, just a lot less disgusting.

I no longer have the rpf1s. The car will be sold with the stock wheels and a pair of 300zx wheels.

This is an older engine bay shot. Cleaned her up a lot since. New pics coming soon. Also, no more fan thermostat if you notice that. Got a relayed switch in the cabin now.

The paint ripple on the passenger quarter.
