Bad Cat Converter
i just had some bad news the other day. My aftermarket cat took a shit. It's rattling like somethings loose underneath the car. Had it up on the rack and found the cat rattles like it's got a rock stuck in there.
So anyways, I'm concerned about my muffler. I already ordered a new cat but I haven't replaced it yet and I just found some white crap in my tailpipe from the cat. I've gotta take my silencers out to get the crap out but i'm just curious is this stuff going to take out my muffler in the process of being shitted out my tail pipes? I have and N1 dual so luckily only one of the cans is blocked right now. I just noticed it this morning at work so I have to wait till I get home to get it out. I heard that you can just remove the cat and hollow it out, how do you do this? Is there any special tools req'd? I'm thinking just smack it around a bit and turn it into a test pipe, just until my other one gets here. Now I have to drive about 400 miles this weekend before I replace it, should I do this now or just wait? hmmm.....any info would help. thanks guys and gals.
