Its just 3 wires you need on one side that go through to the other side. Look at one side and decide which wires go where, then wire it up. I don't really understand the question. You can for example use the 3 wires for something else entirely just by looking at it and wiring it however you want.

I wouldn't bother repinning though, just cut them and solder then with fuel approved heat shrink if needed. Make sure to use an open flame near the mouth of the fuel tank ofc or it won't be very exciting.
