Okay here it is...i had my 89 240SX about 2 years ago and gave it to my sister to drive for a bit...now she is outta school and buying her own vehicle and i am getting the 240 back...but while she had it the digital speedometer stopped working and she just went by the RPMs <img src="http://www.zilvia.net/f/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/lookaround.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=':look:'> now i took it out for a drive the other day and it seems if though the computer is the core of this problem because the car will also shut itself off anywhere between 3500 and 5000 RPMs while shifting...but it is at a different spot in each gear and everytime you shift (ex could shut down at 3500 in 3rd gear so put the clutch in and let it back out and it will go and then shut off at 4500 or it will go clear up to 5500 without shutting off at all) and when it shuts off it is like it is hittin' the govenor.  Does anyone know any possible problems here or has anyone had this happen to them?  Thanks.
