Trouble Starting 240...

I have searched on this topic with no good results. My problem is...
http://www.zilvia.net/f/showthread.p...ight=irving18m

Refer to that link from my previous post 2-3 months ago about when my car was hot and when i would attempt to start it i would get crank crank crank and no start. Answer was to clean the engine temp sensor and it worked perfectly every since then on starting.

Now its novembver here in texas and its chilly outside, not hot anymore. So now when the car sits overnight and i go to work in the morning the car starts fine for the most part. But if I drive to work and work my 8-9 hours or shorter and come out to go home...(by this time the car is fully cooled down)...the car only cranks and cranks and after finally several attempts and giving the car gas, it will finally start. Its identical to my last problem but now it has nothing to do with my engine temperature as before. Sometimes it seems as if after i turn the car off and try to start it back up that the battery is dead, but a good few taps with a wrench on my posts helps that problem but the hard starting im not sure what to try. Any ideas? This is my DD. Thanks!
