dented area on trans

alright guys i searched as much as possible and could not find any threads pertaning to this question. so here it goes. i just picked up a blacktop s13 motor and am in the process of lookin it over and tearin it apart to check everything. i noticed that the area near the output shaft of the trans is dented. kinda looks like it was hit with a hammer or somethin. its on the machined surface at the end of the tranny. i have posted a pick so you can see where im talkin about.

please let me know how bad this is. like if i should send the motor back or try to get a different tranny from the company that sold it to me. im not super happy with them anyway. the harness is cut in like 7 spots and the turbo has quite a bit of shaft play.
